St. Elmo’s Fire — the iconic ’80s Brat Pack flick which starred Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, and Mare Winningham — may be coming to ABC as an hour-long dramedy series, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Supposedly, several networks showed strong interest in the potential potential project, but ABC won the bidding war and now has a deal to produce a pilot. Joel Schumacher, who directed the film, has signed on as a producer, along with Topher Grace, Dan Bucatinsky, and Jamie Tarses.

Topher Grace, Emma Roberts to Exchange Kisses in “Valentine’s Day“
26-Jun-2009
Written by: John Winn

Movie also features Hector Elizondo and Julia Roberts in supporting roles.

Topher Grace and Emma Roberts could be exchanging their “I love you’s”' come next February-on the small screen that is.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Grace and Roberts have signed on to join Julia Roberts, Shirley McClaine, Anne Hathaway and Ashton Kutcher in Garry Marshall's latest movie "Valentine's Day".

Grace plays a mailroom worker who is dating Hathaway.

The movie marks the first time Emma has starred opposite her aunt, playing a teenager desperate to lose her virginity to her boyfriend.

Mike Kartz, of "Good Luck Chuck" and "First Daughter" fame, will co-produce the film with Wayne Rice.

It is the 20th film Marshall has directed in as many years. His previous film, "Georgia Rule," grossed over $41 million at the box office in 2007.

The film also continues something of a longstanding tradition for Hector Elizondo, who has starred in every movie Marshall has directed over the years, starting with "Young Doctors In Love."

"Valentine's Day" is his third pairing with Julia Roberts since "Pretty Woman" in 1990—which was also directed by Marshall.

No word on when the film will debut.

DESPITE refusing to talk of him in interviews, Aussie actress Teresa Palmer broadcast her feelings for Hollywood boyfriend Topher Grace in her Facebook profile for all the cyber world.

Dodging Confidential's questions about the That 70's Show star at her last visit here in January, Palmer until now kept her mouth shut about an alleged relationship with Grace, maybe as a result of attention she had from dating bad boy Russell Brand.

The Bedtime Stories star told of taking Grace to visit her native Adelaide, saying he is "everything I could ask for".

"He's the most genuine person I know - giving and kind, talented and smart, loving and honest," she blogged, also talking about her desire for babies and a love of animals.
